What is your dog saying that you're missing? They might not speak the same language, but they are trying to communicate with you. Join this FREE seminar on dog communication and body language that will be held at City of Charles Sturt Civic Centre (Room CC1), 72 Woodville Road, Woodville, on Saturday, 10 May 2025, starting from 1 pm to 2.30 pm.

Join this information session to learn more about what your dog is saying that you might be missing. From wagging tails to perked ears, this seminar will cover:
• How do dogs communicate?
• What are they trying to say?
• Recognising signs of stress or anxiety
• What can you do if you notice your dog is scared or stressed?
• How do you know if your dog really loves a pat?
• What do you do if your dog growls?
• What should good dog play look like?

Whether you're a seasoned dog owner or just thinking about getting a pup, this seminar is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of their furry friends. Don't miss out on this paws-itive event. Please note that this seminar is for people only. It is unfair to expect young puppies to sit still in a busy place for long periods of time.

There will be a dedicated time afterwards for a Q&A session with the presenting trainers. This seminar is being presented by our qualified dog trainers, Petra (Project Officer) and Tilly (Beach Education Officer). Petra is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviourist with a PhD in dog behaviour and welfare, and Tilly has a BSc. (Animal Behaviour). Book here .
