The latest attraction to entice me to visit was the Semaphore Community Markets. It was a hot 35 degree day, and I did wonder whether the markets would be open, but there were plenty of cars in the vicinity when I arrived.
The Market is probably best described as an arts and craft market - while I saw plants and some items of food there weren't many of these. But the quality of some of the crafts on display was very good.
Perhaps my favourite were the fantastic colourful line drawings of local places produced by BCE Drawing. Unfortunately my photos don't bring out their best as the were behind plastic or glass, but you can appreciate the workmanship still. They have just joined Facebook.
