Along Garema Place with all the other cafes and shops, there is Selli's. An American-style sandwich shop with affordable and delicious food. The sandwich shop offers a number of burgers, as well as hotdogs and bagels. We first noticed the sandwich shop when we went shopping a few weeks before and decided to return to it and give it a try. We arrived a bit after the lunchtime rush, so it wasn't too busy, but there were enough people around to see that it's a well-liked sandwich shop.
The menu at Selli's is short but there are enough options with all day breakfast, bagels, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and sides. Even better, there are a number of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. With so many delicious options like an apple pie bagel, Nemo roll, pineapple express burger, and the BBQ pork hotdog it was hard to make a decision, but I ultimately choose the Mac and Cheese Hotdog, as it combined my two favourite American foods - mac and cheese and hotdogs!
My partner decided to get the BBQ Pork hotdog, and he was kind enough to let me have a bite and it was amazing! He also got three sides which included the mac and cheese, Fricken Chicken wings, and hot chips for us to share. I'm glad we got them to share because the sides were large, and with our hotdogs, there was more than enough food for us both!
After lunch, we went up to the counter to pay, and next to the counter is a number of sweets in the cabinet including cookies, little tarts, pie, cakes, and many other little sweets. They all looked so beautiful, so of course, I had to try one, but since I was too full from lunch I decided to take a rainbow cookie sandwich for the road!
