A para-glider floats silently across the iconic cliff-tops of Sellicks Beach. Para-gliders are a common sight along this part of the Adelaide metropolitan coastline, making the most of the favourable winds, cliff-top launch sites and the spectacular coastal scenery.
With limited access routes to the beach below, this can be a great place for a relatively secluded walk or family picnic away from the beachgoing throngs.
Vehicle access is available to a point along the main beach, with the more southern and secluded parts of the beach only reachable by foot. So, if you're after a remote beach experience within a short drive of the city, then this is definitely your place.
