The perfect secluded picnic spot in Redland Bay
Sel Outridge Park is located on Hamilton Street, Redland Bay.
For families with children wanting to take advantage of the playground, the best parking is located on Peel Street. Sel Outridge park also has a Skate Park close by on the corner of Weinam and Hamilton Street.
Sel Outridge Park in Redland Bay is well shaded under the protection of trees lining the boundary of the playground and the sporting field. The play equipment has a large shade structure for extra protection.
The playground has undercover seating, bins and bubblers in close proximity. The toilets are in eyes view for worried parents however the park is unfenced, so supervision for young children is a must.
Sel Outridge park features a large green field perfect for ball games. You can also take advantage of the basketball half court, batting cages and an outdoor gym area.
The park is perfect for picnics, birthday parties or just a walk along the water. It is relatively quiet and shielded from the sounds of traffic. You won't be disappointed if you are a parent looking for some time out while the kids play.
This playground is one of my favourite spots in the Redlands because it's out of the way, easy to find a parking spot and has a little bit to offer all ages.
