If you didn't know about it, or haven't been, you need to head over to Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria to experience Seeing the Invisible: Augmented Reality Art Experience which will run from Friday 1 October 2021 to Friday 30 September 2022. Participating are Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Cranbourne as the exclusive Australian locations. This ambitious and expansive exhibition to date of contemporary artworks created with AR will premiere across 12 botanic gardens in 6 countries simultaneously.
The exhibition features all the artists listed in the image at the bottom, including several artists' first works in AR. This event has forged new links between botanical gardens around the globe and has fostered collaborations for all involved. It highlights the power of art to connect people around the world.
To view the exhibition you'll need your smartphone and/or tablet to download the Seeing The Invisible App which is available for iPhone and Android in the App Store and Google Play.
