Each plant has its own art of holding seeds, from delicate grass seeds to hard woody fruits. For the gardening lovers, there is a great field trip to show you how to learn the fine art of collecting seeds and practice your skills on a scenic bushwalk led by an experienced guide. It is a chance to get some new additions in your home garden for the gardening lovers.

It will be handy if you can bring along different sizes of plastic bags to hold and separate the seeds you collect. As it is an outdoor activity, a sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream and a bottle of water would help equip you for the trip.

The trip will be held on Saturday, 1 December from 9:00am-12:00pm. You need to RSVP your attendance by making a booking with Lane Cove Council on (02)99113583. This event is suitable for those who live at Lane Cove or Chatswood area. Spaces are very limited, so be quick!
