Toil but no trouble
I discovered by chance a three metre bike ramp made of mostly of fallen logs, several jumps and a shelter. It is just off a very public and frequented bike track. Since then my kids often ask to go for a ride to this precious place.
A major construction for teenagers
On the ramp a hand painted sign alerts the user to the countless hours the teenagers have spent constructing this site for a little trouble free fun. They ask that the council please tolerate their ingenuity in this bush site. For this reason I cannot reveal the exact location but if you want to find it I have written a cryptic code.
On a track winding back from a watery gem Walkers amble and dogs go off lead Hidden from the geographic features and man made system You can hear the frequent clickety clack Go round and under and just to the right For those with wheels and can avoid the puddles
Duck for the branches can hang low If you find it you cannot tell The clay and shale is hard to move
Leave untouched and keep in mind
The teens who toiled and turned the soil
Please be kind to the designers. Good luck
