Fiveways New & Used Furniture

With a large range of new furniture, Fiveways New & Used Furniture could introduce you to some unusual styles. Not necessarily bargain prices, but reasonable. Much statuary, mostly smaller sizes. Antiques, with limited antique homewares, bric-a-brac, beds, dining suites, mattresses. The staff are extra friendly and helpful. Have fun exploring three large areas of pre-loved and new items.

Searchers End 2nd Hand But Not 2nd Best have an expansive store offering used furniture, lots of mattresses, white goods, bric-a-brac, the odd musical instrument, electrical goods, antiques and more. You just might find that unique item you're searching for. Prices on antiques can be negotiated. The staff are always smiling and friendly with a sense of humour and you can also meet the friendly galah.

Vinnies Toowoomba

Vinnies Toowoomba stock donated items including clothing and shoes for all the family, accessories, Manchester, toys, books, bric-a-brac, media and more. They are also a 'Containers for Change Recycle Express' site, so bring along eligible drink containers for a 10c refund. It's rewarding to shop with St Vincent de Paul.

With a heart of gold, Collectables boutique op shop is a Yellow Bridge Qld initiative, giving work experience to persons with a disability, some of whom have begun their own popup businesses in jewellery or aromatic soap making for example. Secondhand goods are rotated weekly and include bric-a-brac, homewares, limited clothing and accessories.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army store at 10 Snell St offer mattresses, fridges, clothing, bric-a-brac, books and more. The Salvation Army Family Store is an attractive venue (20 Prescott St) with clothing, good quality furniture, homewares including a large range of high-quality glassware, blankets and bric-a-brac. Supporting the 'Salvos' helps so many in need.

Life Line
With several stores to choose from, you're sure to pick up a bargain at Life Line. The 302 Ruthven Street (near Chalk Dve) and Anzac Avenue (Cnr Boothby St) sites have a plethora of clothing. Furniture is the big thing at their Herries Street Superstore. All have clothing, accessories, books, bric-a-brac, linen, toys and more. LifeLine supports 'Work for the Dole' volunteers. A quieter venue, the Range Shopping Centre branch (11 James St) stock lots of books and magazines, DVDs, CDs and puzzles as well as a smaller range of clothing and accessories. Other venues are at Wyalla Plaza (238a Taylor St) and Wilsonton Shopping Centre (Cnr Bridge St & Richmond Dve).
