On Saturday the 22nd of September 2018,
Secondhand Saturday will be taking place in hundreds of front yards and other venues right across Northern NSW.
Described as
"the biggest annual garage sale on the North Coast", the event is a great way to de-clutter, grab some bargains, and help the environment at the same time.
Last year there were an impressive 1280 garage sales held on the day and this year promises to be just as big.

The garage sales will kick off from 8am with plenty of bargains on offer.
Interested in holding your own garage sale?Registrations for Secondhand Saturday are open to anyone who has an address in one of the following council shires:
Registrations can be made for free online
here until 5pm on the 12th of September 2018. All garage sales that are registered will be listed online and in the local press from the 18th of September.
As a bonus, all people who list a garage sale for the Secondhand Saturday weekend can also register to hold another garage sale the following weekend (this will also be listed online).
Not enough items to hold your own garage sale?
If you'd like to take part but don't think you have enough items to hold your own garage sale, why not join forces with your friends or neighbours and have a combined stall?
Another option is to team up with a local organisation (eg. a scouts group, community preschool etc), as many schools, churches and community organisations have previously used the event as a fundraiser and will be more than happy to receive any extra donations and/or help on the day.

Download the free Secondhand Saturday search app available from the

From Monday the 17th of September 2018, the garage sale list will be published in local newspapers and council newsletters
