We're a bit spoiled for choice when it comes to shopping second hand in Melbourne compared to other cities and states. If you live in the South East or are visiting the area, here's a few good shopping spots to try.

Erstwhile Market
Dubbed "Baysides's Newest Ol Place", it can be found at 12 Horscroft Place, Moorabbin. It's a lovely new market made up of stallholders who have varied and eclectic tastes and sell vintage, retro and handmade goods. They are also beginning to hold classes from the market in the near future.
It's open 6 days a week Tuesday – Sunday 10AM – 5PM
You can find out more here .

Vinnies Moorabbin
Such a beautiful bright and big new store, I'd especially recommend a shop here if you're looking for furniture and books, because of their size they have lots to choose from.
They are open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm and on Sundays from 10am - 4PM
You can find all their stores on their website here .

Savers Moorabbin
Savers have a few stores around Melbourne and this is a great one, so much variety especially if you're looking for clothing. Don't forget to follow them on Facebook to find out about their regular 50% off days. Their stores can be found here . The Moorabbin store is at the Moorabbin Super Centre, 430 Warrigal Road. It is open on Monday to Wednesdays from 9am to 7pm, Thursday and Friday from 9am - 9pm and on Sundays from 9am -6pm.

Mordialloc Vintage Market
The Mordialloc Vintage Market is another great stallholder market space. It has a great range of vintage, retro and collectables and is open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 5pm . Their Facebook page is here .

Vincent Raux & Sons Antiques
This is a real hidden treasure. It can be found tucked away at 482 South Road Moorabbin a real gem with well-priced collectables from furniture to china and more. They can be contacted via their website, where they also sell online here .

**Kids Warehouse/B]
Such a perfect spot to shop for those with children. So much under one roof and extremely helpful and friendly in store. You can shop for babies through to teens, they not only have clothing but toys, books, furniture and more. There is also a little play area where the kids can play whilst you watch them and browse!
Check out their Facebook page here to read about latest stock and how their consignment policy works if you have goods to part with.

They can be found at 4/2 Amayla Crescent, Carrum Downs and are open from 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 3pm on Saturdays.

Check their Facebook page out here .
