I was finally able to pay a visit to the Seasons Provedore on my final day as a Melbourne resident. There was a bit of anxiety as I was waiting for that all important phone call from the backloads removalists. That all important phone call to ship the last of my goods from Melbourne to Sydney. The waiting game was the game I just had to play, and a visit to this establishment helped on this occasion. Nevertheless my experience at this establishment was relaxing and awesome. This is an establishment that you either like or you don't. My wish to visit (and enjoy a coffee) in Lygon Street one more time before calling Sydney home was fulfilled. Amen to that.
Season's Provedore is also known for its great food...
The ambience inside Seasons Provedore (depending on the type of day that you come here) can be a little noisy, yet the food was to die for. The pizzas in the shopfront window looked extremely fresh and colourful. I just needed a coffee to get me through the afternoon. Wish easily fulfilled. Their coffee is also locally roasted.
The ordering process felt a little rushed, maybe that could have been a reflection of the mood I was in at the time. This is where you need to wait and see and not judge a book by its cover until you get to experience this establishment for yourself. Then make that judgement call. I sat outside, yet sitting so close to the street scape felt somewhat insane at times. Maybe it was my mood once again.
My latte arrived, and some natural sugar with it was just appropriate. It was fantastic that the waiter who served me (she must had read my mind) asked me if I wanted some water. A jug of the clear stuff landed on my table in no time at all. I was happy, and my problems subsided for a moment.
