With a stunning view of the sparkling Laguna Bay, Season restaurant on Noosa main beach seemed like an obvious choice for lunch. A casually elegant, relaxed decor was inviting and comfortable as we settled under the permanent shade structures to enjoy the view and look through the menu. Highlighting the fresh local produce of the area, the menu is modern and diverse.
We settled on the entree special of tempura seafood served with a dipping sauce to die for and an Asian inspired slaw. For $29 including a glass of wine it was definitely good value.
As a main we shared a peking duck pizza with red onion, spinach, pumpkin and chipotle bbq sauce. The base was thin and crispy on the edges and there were ample toppings bursting with flavour. I had my eye on the Hervey Bay scallops but they will have to wait for another occasion.
Season is located on the ground floor of the Tingirana building on the beachfront at 25 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads. Directly opposite the Sheraton Noosa the entrance is along the walkway between Hastings Street and the boardwalk of main beach.
Open for breakfast 7:30 - 11am; lunch 12 - 3pm and dinner from 5. Coffee and cake or muffins are available at other times. The menu changes seasonally and can be found on their website.

So the next time you are in town visiting or perhaps wanting to enjoy lunch out of the office I would recommend Season restaurant as a modern, relaxed venue with attentive wait staff, delicious fresh food and a view that's second to none.
