Following sell-out seasons in Adelaide & Perth, Seance returns to Melbourne this winter.
Created by Glen Neath and David Rosenberg, sound wizards of Darkfield (UK), Seance is currently at Queen Victoria Market. It's the perfect partner to dinner or drinks in the city and tickets are on sale now.
The experience combines the concept of a traditional seance, with 3D audio and sensory deprivation.
From the outside, it's your standard white 40ft shipping container ...
But step inside to find two rows of old theatre chairs around a long table. Take a seat, put on your noise cancelling headphones and the room goes black.
For 20 intense minutes, you will be plunged into complete darkness so you can focus solely on your other senses, guaranteeing a truly personal and unique experience.
Seance is best experienced with an open mind. The experience is not suitable for those who are claustrophobic, pregnant, suffer heart or back conditions or are under the age of 15.
The season has already been extended due to popular demand. Tickets for additional sessions will sell out, so Melburnians are advised to book ahead. Seance will be in the Queen Victoria Market carpark every Wednesday and Saturday evening from 6:00pm until 29 August. Tickets and session times are available from www.seancelive.com/tickets
