I write, read, travel, garden, renovate, work, drink coffee - all the usual things. My lovely partner often accompanies me, and of course my constant companions, two feisty terriers, are never far from my side. We live in and enjoy South Australia.

At The Seagate Cafe, Moonta Bay, food is delivered hot and fresh and delicious! Servings are enormous! Service is friendly and helpful, while the menu is reflective of pub meals; think schnitzels, chips and salads We paid $18 for chicken schnitzels that were far bigger than we could hope to eat in one meal.
At the time of our visit, the imposing faceted building at the very corner, overlooking so much of the curving coastline, and accessed from the front via a rather daunting flight of stairs, was not open and showed no indication of opening any time soon. This, of course, is subject to change without notice!
The Seagate Cafe, Moonta Bay has french doors and windows that open to the sea breeze and the sea view across the car park to the jetty, The beach that stretches seemingly forever... Sunsets over Spencer Gulf are not to be missed!
Disabled access to The Seagate Cafe is via the somewhat steep and narrow ramp at the rear, accessed from the hillside car-park (not the public car-park in front, which provides access to Splashtown, the beach, the jetty), and enters at a dimly lit rear entry to the cafe.
