Maggie Beer's farm to learn alongside a professional chef. With both Christmas and Summer fast approaching, mastering a few seafood dishes will be a useful skill to have and an easy way to entertain this holiday season.

What will you learn? Workshops are all taught and step-by-step guided by a professional chef. Over 3 hours, you will learn to cook 3 simple yet delicious seafood dishes using the best South Australian seafood, learn how to shuck oysters, cook blue swimmer crabs and fillet fresh fish to roast.

The cooking school is located right next to
Maggie Beer's Farm Shop. You will find this country-like cooking school and a seasonal restaurant. Both venues offer splendid views of the pond and the tree-lined loop walk. Guests and class attendees at
The Farm Eatery are more than welcome to enjoy a walk before or after any of the cooking workshops or meal services.

The Cooking School is an impeccable, well-equipped space. Class sizes are small and attendees normally share a workbench with someone else or if the group is small enough. You might get a whole bench to yourself. Price is inclusive of all equipment, ingredients and printed recipe copies to take home. The atmosphere is relaxed and the experience is memorable and useful. It is encouraged for workshop attendees to wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes for safety.
