A Celebration of exquisite food, wine, cultures and more

The Seafarers Multicultural Festival is a three day long celebration of exotic cultures, wonderful food and euphonious music. This festival is a celebration of the multicultural diversity of the East Gippsland promoting Aboriginal arts, performing arts, healthy food, community cultural heritage, music and visual arts while providing impetus towards a better and brighter future for all of us.

Set in gorgeous Lakes Entrance, this wonderful festival will commence on Friday, the 30 November and will be a joyous congregation of world-class chefs, talented musicians, aspiring sportsmen and general public.

This event will be heralded by a cooking demonstration by the Ambassador and celebrity chef Paul Mercurio who is renowned for his lead role in Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom in 1992. Another celebrity to grace the red carpet of this festival will be Mark Olive of The Black Olive, who has been a chef for over 25 years. Watch these illustrious chefs cook up a storm while wowing the audience.

On the night of the opening day, 30 November 2012, Feast of St Nicholas will entice guests with a scrumptious offering of great food and excellent wine. A marquee will be set up on the foreshore overlooking the water where a three course dinner will be enjoyed while serenaded by live music from international artists. This delectable feast has been priced at $65 per person. Bookings can be made by contacting Rosemary on 0427 817 960. Find out more here.
