With the weather warming up and the days getting longer, it is the ideal time to venture outdoors. Recently we found ourselves looking for an ideal spot for lunch and ended up at Sea Salt and Vine in Scarborough. It is located near the waterfront at the Reef Point Esplanade in Redcliffe. It is opposite the tranquil Jameison Park and behind the caravan park looking out onto the waterfront at Scarborough.

An ideal and lovely place for a bite to eat. We enjoyed a delicious lunch here whilst soaking up the great outdoors. The cafe has quite a large outdoor eating area which also can accommodate your four legged members of the family. This is perfect for those walking their dogs, who also feel like stopping for a coffee or breakfast.

The cafe is open from 7am until around 4pm and serves up breakfast, great coffee, morning and afternoon tea and lunch. It is also BYO.

Lunch for us was fish and chips ($18), calamari ($17) and chicken and salad wrap ($16).

Each member of our di& #324 ;ing party enjoyed what was served and felt adequately satisfied.

Coffee was also ordered and enjoyed. Service was okay, probably a little slow, but that may be due to the busy lunchtime crowd that we were apart of.

Being right on the waterfront walking path, it makes a great place to enjoy a causal stroll after eating. Sea Salt and Vine also has live music on Sunday (Check website for upcoming events). The idea of live music, sea views and tasty food makes retuning to Sea Salt and Vine high on our list of things to do.
