Sea Salt are a small and casual seafood restaurant serving fish, chips and sushi. I visited the Sea Salt on Lygon Street in Carlton, but two others exist, one on Degraves Street in the CBD and another on Chapel Street in Windsor.

When I stopped by for lunch recently, the store was packed (no seating left), so I ordered my sushi to go (one crispy chicken and one spicy tuna). Service was quick and friendly. The rolls were nice (light, fresh, tasty), maybe even as nice as MoMo's on Swanston Street, but I was still hungry for a real lunch afterwards. I should have bought three rolls.

Sea Salt have indoor and outdoor seating, but fill up fast. They're definitely not as posh as Tank Fish and Chippery .
