Platypuses, sting rays, sharks and more
There are very few activities that can truly be considered "fun for the whole family" - usually either adults or children are putting up with something that they'd really rather do without.
Visiting Sea Life Aquarium is genuinely fun and involving for everyone from age two onwards - the excitement of seeing real live animals is simple enough for a toddler and complicated enough for an adult to appreciate. No-one ever grows out of the thrill of seeing a shark gliding past - especially in the famous water tunnel, where participants are literally underwater. Water-based animals are especially intriguing because they are so different to humans.
The aquarium also features live platypuses, a fantastic penguin enclosure, and a touch pool including shark eggs and live starfish.
Darling Harbour is tricky for parking, but has so many brilliant things to see and do that it's well worth the trip.
