Take a moment out of shopping to enjoy coffee
When I go out to eat, I really like the luxury of someone else doing the cooking, cleaning and serving of food to my table. It enables me to relax and enjoy the experience. Also the ability to choose what I want is good. I don't always feel like what my husband or son wants.

So when we go to Chermside shopping centre, I prefer to eat at a cafe or restaurant rather than brave the food court. I just don't like the whole food court experience - too busy and too much hard work especially if I like something, and my son and husband want to eat from somewhere else. Too much co-ordinating. And then the whole experience of trying to find seats whilst carrying your food.

That is why we seem to end up at Scuzi Cafe. It is located right down the northern end of the Westfield Chermside. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, so you can escape the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre for a bit whilst enjoying a meal or a drink.

Scuzi Cafe serves an all day breakfast menu, light meals and favourite Italian dishes including pastas, risotto and pizzas. They also do a decent coffee and cake, Di Bella coffee being one of my favourites. You can just take time out to enjoy a drink.

Grilled panini

My son and I ended up having lunch here this week during the school holidays and we were able to enjoy a bite to eat and some peace and quiet in between some shopping. The food gave us enough energy to finish our shopping expedition.

My son choose the BLCT (bacon, lettuce, cheese and tomato) grilled panini with chips whilst my choice was the warm lamb and avocado salad with a cup of coffee. The times that we have eaten here the food is always good and the serves are generous.

The staff is extremely friendly and very welcoming. So if you are shopping at Westfield at Chermside and you are feeling peckish and want to escape the business of the shopping centre, you might want to try out the food and drinks at Scuzi.

Hi....I try and have my catch up lunches with my friends at Scuzi. I've even been at lunch with one friend when another of my friends, whom I'd introduced Scuzi to the previous week, turns up to lunch with her friends at another table. The bowls of salad are so fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and very energetic! !!!! I highly recommend Scuzi Cafe at Chermside.

Having moved from Canberra about 2 years ago, we found it hard to find a decent coffee on the north side. We discovered Scuzi Cafe and were delighted with both the service and of course the coffee and food.I can't recommend Scuzi more highly! !We travel from Narangba at least twice a week for our coffee fix. You have to try this place....bet you go back!!

Thanks for the 'heads-up' Sherrie! And the confirmation from Lynda & Wendy.
I often shop at 'Chermy" , not really a food court person either and have found the Restaurants, at the southern end of the complex ,nothing special.
Will definately give try Scuzi on my next trip !
