I'm from Venezuela, a land of cocoa and coffee beans. Also, neighbour country of the most famous coffee producer in the world: Colombia. So when I tell you that I know about how coffee should be, you must trust me.
I work at Crows Nest and one cold day I was in need of a real good cup of coffee (not the machine one at my kitchen's workplace) so I walked down and in one corner I found this beautiful and cozy place called SCURO ESPRESSO, that was crowded so my first thought was that maybe it was worthy to try out.
At first I just asked for one large Latte no sugar (as I like to drink my coffee), but the mixed berries muffins started to blink an eye to me, so I couldn't help myself and after that day I became a regular customer.
The muffin was fluffy, light, fresh and just delicious. The coffee was perfect.
So I started to try other things of the chalked menu: the toasted banana bread, the chocolate brownie, the pasta salad, all kinds of sandwiches, an incredible indulgent Belgian hot chocolate, spicy chai latte, different kinds of quiches (all homemade) and I can tell that everything is fresh made with high quality ingredients. It's just delicious.
The staff are awesome and they do their best, for you to have a great commensal experience. Also the prices let you forget about the wallet, and everything you have to worry about is not to overeat (which is very common here, as whatever you ask for, is super yummy).
