Celebrating its tenth year, Sculpture on the Edge is back for 2020 and it's bigger and better than ever! This Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition is set in the spectacular rainforest retreat of Spicers Tamarind on the escarpment of the hinterland town of Maleny on the Sunshine Coast.

Presented by Arts Connect Inc, Sculpture on the Edge is an outdoor three-dimensional (3D) sculpture and installation award exhibition. With an Award pool of $6,500 and the major Award of $5,000, this unique environment site-specific display, attracts renowned artists from all over Queensland and Australia. Creatives use their imagination and individuality to create one-of-a-kind sculptural artworks, which work with the environment, complementing the stunning natural landscape that forms part of the Spicers Tamarind Retreat.

With kind sponsors and partners, including the major sponsor, Spicers Tamarind Retreat since 2012, the Sculpture on the Edge exhibition is able to showcase an amazing art experience to art lovers and visitors to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The free entry exhibition opens on Saturday 31 October and continues until Sunday 15 November 2020. Visitors are invited to engage and immerse themselves in the picturesque eighteen acre Spicers Tamarind property, which provides the spectacular backdrop for the Sculpture on the Edge exhibition.

The public is invited to attend the exciting Opening and Awards Evening 2020 for Sculpture on the Edge, to be held on Saturday 31 October, where the winning 'pieces' and their creators will be acknowledged and awarded. As well as attending the twilight viewing of the Sculpture on the Edge exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists and join in on the celebrations, with live music, drinks and an Asian-inspired travelling feast from The Tamarind Restaurant.
