Presented by the Town of Cottesloe, Sculptures By the Sea is always a lovely event to attend at our iconic Cottesloe Beach. It first hit our shores here in Cottesloe in 2005, after being at Bondi Beach since 1997.

An art exhibition with a difference, overlooking the Indian Ocean, it showcases sculptures from over 60 local, interstate and international artists. You will be amazed and fascinated by the various sculptures on display. One lucky artist will have their piece purchased by the Town of Cottesloe to remain a permanent display in the Cottesloe area.

A worldwide and very popular event, Sculptures By The Sea will hit our shores from Friday 8th March and will run until Monday the 25th of March this year.

With wheelchair access to most areas, free beachfront parking throughout summer and shuttle buses from Cottesloe Train Station every 15 minutes on weekends and public holidays, it is easy to get to and very enjoyable event for all ages.

I first attended this event in March 2009, and have made it a not to miss calendar event since!

There is also a display of smaller versions of each art piece in the Surf Life Saving Hall available for purchase for those true art buffs out there.

The Town of Cottesloe has very helpful volunteers to answer any of your questions and allow you to vote for your favourite piece - the winner is announced on the final day of the display.
