Working predominately in synthetic materials, epoxies and resins, Cameron Eaton is a Brisbane based artist. Cameron will be sharing images of his work including descriptions of the processes and materials used in making his sculptures.
For more information, view: www.cameroneaton.com.au
Borrowing heavily on his experience as a structural designer and draftsman, Cameron will also share some of his insights into the design processes and fabrication of large sculptural works including his own award winning sculpture "Ashburn Wilson", installed at the entrance to Roma Airport in December 2015.
Sculptors Queensland offers continuous Sculpture Workshops and Life Drawing Sessions from Beginners on up!
These all take place at "the Shed", Cnr Gregory Tce and Bowen Bridge Rd., behind the Old Museum Building. For details, please see www.sculptorsqld.org.au and go to "What's On"
Sculptors Queensland will not host a Forum Night in August due to the Brisbane Ekka from August 5th to 14th.
However, several sculptors will have work displayed in the Fine Arts Section. For the first time this year the Ekka will have an outdoor Sculpture Exhibition displayed next to the Old Museum Building. Entry is included in your Ekka entry ticket. Not to be missed!
