Scroll on up for a tasty treat
If you've experienced this sweet treat while visiting Thailand or spotted the viral videos of the street food vendors in Thailand making 'stir fry ice cream' and thought yourself "why don't they do this back in Australia?", well.....now they do.

Scroll Ice Cream is the first Australian operator to bring this Thai-inspired cold plate or 'teppanyaki' ice cream to Melbourne.
Just in time for the Melbourne summer, Scrolled's owners spotted the cool trend in Thailand and brought it back, impressing all those who step inside this casual and fun parlour where the sweet treats are rolled out by the hordes.
The frozen concoction involves pouring the liquid ingredients onto a large flat and very cold surface and mixing in a variety of exciting ingredients using the type of flat spatula's you'd see at at typical tepanyaki style restaurant.
With a variety of quirky (and tasty flavours) there's always a new one to com back for such as the Pav-Lover, a deconstructed pavlova that uses fresh strawberries, to the Nutter Butter biscuit, which combines the chocolate goodness of Tim Tams, Nutella and peanut butter
We tried the Espresso Slam (pictured above) as well as a coconut, blueberry and lychee tropical treat.
