Scottish Country Dancing: Beginners' Introduction Morning

The Melbourne & District Branch Inc of The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society is hosting a Beginners' Introductory Morning on Saturday 22nd April 2017, at Ormond Uniting Church, from 10am to 12noon. Entry is free and the event is open to all - no partner is required. This Beginners' Introduction Morning event offers dance enthusiasts a great opportunity to learn this popular dance, which is performed men, women and children of all ages usually in teams of 3, 4, or 5 couples, arranged either in two lines (men facing ladies) or in a square, working together to dance a sequence of formations.This traditional dance is a great physical and mental activity, and it's also a fabulous way to meet new, like-minded individuals. Plus if you enjoy this free session, you can consider enrolling in the upcoming 8-week term which is payable on a course basis (8 weeks for $120 / $15 per class).
