The Graceville group starting time is listed at 9.30 am. Apparently it is actually 9 am.

Scottish Country Dance does not involve carefully stepping over a pair of swords in a kilt.

Country Dance is done as a couple in sets. It is quite energetic and dancers learn precise stepping. It is a great cardio exercise and much more fun than going to the gym.

You don't need a partner as there are many singles in each group. Partners change during the evening, so you get to meet a lot of new people.

Hi Lynne. I tried the Graceville club but unfortunately they were not at all welcoming. :(

Most Scottish Country Dance groups are very welcoming and friendly. Contact The Gap or St Philip's. They'd really love to have you join them. you just had an unfortunate experience. There are better times ahead. Desley
