Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island is the first of a long line of direct-to-video and DVD animated and spooky comedy film, based on the popular animated television series, Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoons franchise.
This film tells the story of the time that Scooby and his gang reunite in order to help Daphne find real paranormal activities, for her new career as the host of her own television series, when they get more than they bargained for!
The group end up travelling to the spookiest place in the bayou, Zombie Island, where they battle with pirate ghosts, taunting cats, alligators, quicksand, evil werecats, voodoo magic, a scary wild boar named Mojo and of course, hordes of terrifying zombies.
This is a film, made for Scooby-Doo fans, the world over and is great for the whole family, with plenty of fun and catchy songs, spooky mystery and hilarious hijinks from none other than Scooby-Doo himself, because there is nothing funnier than Scooby, chasing cats, with a live frog stuck on his head.
Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island is rated G for general exhibition and was originally released on VHS and DVD in 1999.
