Week one scone flavours announced!

Get excited scone lovers, lovers of festival celebrations, high teas, and all things joyous. We all need a bit of decadence in our lives sometimes, because we're so worth it. Mary Eats Cake 's launch of their first ever Scone Festival begins this weekend - 1 to 2 June 2024! Head to their Montrose (13 Leith Rd, Montrose) or Brunswick (558 Sydney Rd, Brunswick) venue to try delicious yet unique scone flavours. Either book one of their wonderful High Tea Packages for unlimited festival scones or a À la carte session time to enjoy a wonderful scone board with their flavours of the day! As you can see, the first round of flavours are in! On Saturday you get the Lavender and Blueberry, which'll probably be a favourite of mine, along with a Mediterranean vegetarian scone, filled with all you'd associate with Mediterranean flavours. Sunday is for the Tiramisu lovers, and a Jalapeno Popper for the lovers of all things savoury - and who doesn't love a bit of bacon and cheese! With the festival running till 30 June 2024, there are lots more flavours to look forward to, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on their socials for announcements of upcoming flavours as Mary Eats Cake dishes out unique Festival flavours for you to try. Exciting! It's the little things in life!


You may or may not be aware, that you can have these sweet or savoury indulgences delivered to your door too, home or office. Grab yourself a sweet box or a savoury box. Be sure to check out all the booking and delivery T&Cs on the website when booking, and don't forget to mention your dietary requirements if any. However, if you're a traditional lover of Mary's Gold High Tea box, you can get that too. It's filled with Waldorf chicken loaf sandwich, chunky shepherd's pie, leek and bacon quiche, salmon and cucumber sandwich, lemon tart with gold dust, pistachio and blackberry tea cake, blood orange and chocolate dome sprinkled with gold, golden salted caramel macaron, and two fresh scones sprinkled with gold dust, raspberry jam and fresh cream. Delivery is available from Friday to Sunday.
