Science fun for grown ups at Scitech After Dark
Science fans and self-proclaimed geeks of Perth rejoice! Scitech's popular After Dark event is back on Saturday, 10th September from 6pm. It's a night on the town with a difference that mixes the art of science with socialisation.
If there ever was a time to dress up as your favourite Jurassic Park reptile, this is it, with this year's event paying homage to all things dinosaur. And yes, costumes are encouraged.
Scitech will open its doors for its After Dark event.
There will be a talk on selection and reproduction in dinosaurs and modern reptiles (because who doesn't stay awake thinking about that?) along with the chance to become a palaeontologist for the evening and discover the 'Explore-A-Saurus.' You'll even find a real dinosaur (ok, so it's not actually real) named Bucky roaming the halls.
In addition to reptilian relics, Scitech will have over 100 exhibitions to interact with and view, including the planetarium, the power of mind control and the CSIRO lab.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the night and the event will run from 6pm to 10pm. So unleash your inner-geek and enjoy a night of scientific wonder and fascinating fun! Tickets can be purchased from $16 plus fees, from Eventbrite.
