As part of National Science Week, the ARC Centre of Excellence in Bio-Nano Science and the Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity are hosting a FREE screening of 'Contagion' for the public.

The 2011 American medical thriller film revolves around a worldwide epidemic and the CDC working to find a cure. You can enjoy popcorn and water with the movie as well as a discussion with a panel of experts in high security infectious disease identification, population health epidemiology and nanotechnology/nanomedicine.

They will provide insights to disease outbreak in real life and share about the current research and response capabilities to such an outbreak. Visit the website to reserve your seats and bring a copy of the ticket. Please note the movie is rated 'M' and may not be suitable for children under the age of 15.
