In recent years you may have heard the word 'STEM'. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. Adelaide's Science Alive! Stem Day Out is a whole day of information on STEM careers for students in years 7 to 12 on Friday 19th November 2021.



Adelaide's Science Alive! Stem Day Out is a tremendous opportunity to meet and talk with a wide range of science-related exhibitors, activities and experiences. This is a free event for years 7 to 12 students and teachers. One ticket is required for each group and can be booked here .

STEM covers a range of work and experience in animal science, astronomy, biology engineering, health science industries, ICT, resource and defence industries, robotics and electronics to name just a few. South Australia's universities will have representatives as well as science-related organisations to assist students think further about careers in STEM.

Students will be able to:
Attend two science shows, preceded by short presentations by young early-career scientists and engineers.
Visit up to 50 booths offering a wide variety of interactive STEM experiences

Adelaide's Science Alive! STEM Day Out is on Friday 19th November, 2021 from 9am to 3pm at the Adelaide Showground, Goodwood Road, Wayville. Register your school group for this free event.
