It's time to put on your Star Trek uniform. Polish your pips and set a course for the 8th Sci-Fi Collectables Fair and DS9 Market Day. Maximum warp!
The Queensland Star Trekkers Fan Club Star Fleet Officers invite you to down the DS9 promenade (Fortitude Valley Trinity Centre) for a day of Ferengi trading on Sunday 19th July.
Bring along your tricorder to scan the collectables on offer, target a bargain at your discretion and enter into inter-species negotiations for your collectable prize between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
Humans, Star Trek Personnel, Trills, Bolians, Ferengi, Bajorans, Cardassians, Klingons, and other inter-galactic species are all welcome and encouraged to browse, pick up a bargain, taste the food fair and make new friends with like-minded sci-fi buffs.
You may know that William Shatner became the Queensland Star Trekkers Fan Club Patron in April 2011. Then in April 2015, the club had the pleasure of extending the Club's Honorary Membership to Nichelle Nicols, George Takei and Walter Koenig.
