If amusing the children seems like an endless task this school holidays, then be sure to check out the amusement rides at the Newcastle foreshore. Running from the 29th of December to the 26th January, the rides will offer non-stop entertainment, and being located on the foreshore you've also got other attractions such as Nobbys Beach and Fort Scratchley to choose from to occupy and amuse the kids.



It's not the biggest set up the foreshore has ever seen but at $25 for unlimited rides, it's certainly enough to keep the kids occupied for hours. There's jumping castles, slides, merry-go-rounds and every bodies favourite; the dodge-em cars. There's also show bag and food stalls.



Located on the foreshore, the rides are conveniently set up smack bang in the middle of Newcastle's entertainment hub. They're within walking distance to Queens Wharf, Nobbys Beach , Fort Scratchley and the Newcastle Museum , just to name a few. There's enough in the area to keep the kids amused for days.



So if you're flat out looking for ideas to keep your children from bouncing off the walls this school holidays, then head down to the foreshore where you can let them literally bounce of the walls.
