School holidays at Adelaide Zoo is always sure to be an enormous amount of fun. This school holidays Adelaide Zoo is offering two amazing options to keep the kids entertained.
Zoocation Care is a holiday program for 5 – 12-year-olds, where they can come along from 9 am to 4 pm and spend the day with a Conservation Educator exploring the Zoo and getting to know the animals. For this program, 5-year-olds must have been to school in 2018.
This a fun-filled day with adventurous activities, games, animal presentations and opportunities to meet new friends.
The day will commence by meeting outside Gate 3, Plane Tree Drive, Adelaide Zoo and all children are to wear footwear and a hat at all times. Children must be collected by 4.10 pm.
The keepers at Adelaide Zoo need the help of little animal lovers to research and prepare shopping lists. Visit the Zoo from Saturday 14 April to Sunday 29 April 2018, to discover what the animals eat, their special treats and weird and wonderful eating habits.
Go on a 'shopping spree' around the zoo for a chance to win 1 of 3 great prizes.
Zoo visitors can meet the keeper during a range of animal feeding times. There is the Children's Zoo Animal Encounter, South East Asia Bird and Giant Panda, or watch the big game feeding with the lions or Sumatran Tigers. Children can try their hand at feeding the animals in the Children's Zoo with food purchased at the zoo. Check the website for feeding times.
Entry to the Zoo is $36 adults, $25.50 concession, $19.80 children (4 – 14 years) or $91.50 family (2 adults 2-3 children), $97.50 2 adults 4 children or $103.50 2 adults 5 children. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Zoo.

The Adelaide Zoo is located on Frome Road, North Adelaide and is open every day from 9.30 am to 5 pm. There are 4 and 10 hours metered parking spaces on Plane Tree Drive or Hackney Road with a short walk through the Botanic Gardens. The Zoo is also easily accessible by public transport.
If visiting the Zoo for the whole day, bring a picnic or enjoy the Zoo Cafe or Restaurant. Wisteria Restaurant is open 9 am to 4.30 pm daily with a range of treats, small bites and hot meals. Fig Tree Cafe is located in the centre of the Zoo and offers snack and lunch options.
