During the October school holidays Kuoni Creative at 212 Main Road, Blackwood will be conducting four new art workshops, hosted by a born artist, Nikki Allen, whose artistic style is determined by her drive to create.
Nikki's artistic talents have been brought into play since her early years at primary school. As Resident Artist, where ever she may be, this has lead her to a diverse career in all things creative.
She is also a Positive Psychology Counsellor. In her business, Owning Happy, she is passionate about therapeutic benefits of creative expression for all ages.
Nikki is a mother of three children. For over ten years she has been volunteering teaching art to children. She understands the impact of autonomous creative thinking on the developing mind and she has observed children's confidence levels rise as they learn to trust their own judgement and choices through their creative work.
If your child shows a flair for drawing and painting mandalas, drawing animals and / or people, painting little creatures and creating decorative patterns on stones, there are a variety of fun workshops being offered at Kuoni Creative, where your children's imaginations may run free and turn their own masterpieces into keepsakes.
