The Athenaeum Theatre at 188 Collins St, Melbourne are putting on shows for all the kids for the school holidays. What a great way to introduce the children to theatre and great to have activities available for children to get involved in during the long summer break. The Smeds and the Smoos is for children aged 3 and up and come from the team that brought you The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom; live on stage. In a far-off planet, Smeds and Smoos can't be friends. So when a young Smed and Smoo fall in love and zoom off into space together, how will their families get them back? The title says it all for the 78-Storey Treehouse. A treehouse that just keeps growing, with a lot happening even though there's another 13 levels to go. Dog Man - The Musical is said to be a family show that makes adults laugh too. Dog Man loves to fight crime and chew on the furniture. But while trying his best to be a good boy, can he save the city from Flippy the cyborg fish and his army of Beasty Buildings. Can he catch Petey, the worlds most evil cat, who has cloned himself to exact revenge on the doggy dogooder. There's a lot happening in this one, so start booking to see shows the whole family can enjoy.
