These September school holidays, kids can enjoy a range of activities with the School Holiday Program at the Green Olive at Red Hill farm. There is a tractor full of fun during the 2-week program lined-up at Green Olive at Red Hill from Monday 19th September to Friday 30th September 2016 in Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula.
During both weeks, Monday is Meet the Animals Day. Gumboots are highly recommended as kids will be taken on a meet and greet tour around the farm.
Tuesday is Plant a Seed Day. Kids will be able to plant a sunflower seed and within just a few days, their seed project will begin to grow.
Wednesday is for Family Yoga. That Barefoot Yogi will be on hand to guide kids through their very own yoga session. Places are limited and this event has a $10 fee per child.
Thursday is reserved for yum. Decorate your own cupcake and enjoy your sweet treat with cup of hot chocolate. There is a $10 fee for this event and it includes cupcake, cupcake decorations and hot chocolate.
On Friday, budding artists can unleash their creative spirits. Kids will be encouraged to 'forage around the farm' in search of art tools, which they will then use to make their very own masterpiece.
Activities start at 10.30am each day and parents are welcome to enjoy a farm-roasted coffee in the café.
