Awesome fun over the holidays
Always at a loss over the holidays? Holidays need not be boring. Here are my pick of things to do on the Gold Coast:

Air Factory Trampoline Park at Burleigh Waters is a pretty cool place to be. There are zones for everyone with free jump, dodge ball, mini air factory, bubble soccer and slam dunk. Prices start from $8.00.

Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is loads of fun for all and very reasonable. Family price for 4 swimmers is $14.20 Give them a call to see what they have on over the holidays. And, did you know they now have underwater hockey lessons there too!

Just across from there is the Broadwater Parklands, always a hive of activity with playgrounds, swimming enclosure and loads of paths to scoot or skate around.

Mrs Red Art Room caters for all kids including teens. $5.00 days on Fridays is fantastic fun for all. Amazing artworks with a great atmosphere.

The water is still warm and we have the best beaches here on the Gold Coast. Pack a picnic and body boards and head to Main Beach, Surfers, Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads or Kirra for a great, relaxing day at the beach. For a super treat on the way home grab a frozen drink for $1 or a soft serve cone at McDonalds.

Gold Coast City Council bring out a school holiday program every holidays. There is so much to do here and most of it is free or just a small fee. Program will be out shortly. Go to website and search School Holiday Program. There is also the Active and Healthy program which has some great activities to do. Last holidays we had a go at stand up paddle boarding at Currumbin, so much fun for $10.

Skateboarding and scootering. So many skateboarding parks around to skate, ride and scoot. Check out Gold Coast City Council's website for the list of skateparks in your area.. There are some fantastic workshops as well.

Why not bring along the camera, or Go Pro and video or take photos. Big W have a fantastic website where they can create a memory book, upload their photos, arrange and add words. Once finished Big W will then print the book for you. Prices start from $5.00. A fabulous present for the Grandparents and a great idea for a rainy day.

Happy holidays.
