A fun morning for all green thumbs
The National Arboretum is a scenic venue, just 10 minutes from Canberra's city centre. It is a 250-hectare arboretum which contains forests of endangered trees from all around the world. At the Visitor Centre, which is perched high up on a hill, there is the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection. These school holidays, kids are invited to pot up, wire and style their own personal bonsai! This workshop is suitable for 8 years and over. Bookings are essential as places are strictly limited.

Cost: $40 plus booking fee ($2.50)

Dates: 23rd, 24th, 26th and 27th April

Time: 10am - 12pm
