Make damper & billy tea or throw & paint a boomerang
Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is a national park located 40 minutes south west of Canberra's CBD. It has a rich history of indigenous culture, over 20 bushwalks to choose from and a variety of areas to spot platypus, koalas and kangaroos in the wild. It has an entry fee of $12 per car.

These school holidays they will be holding two activities:

BILLY TEA & DAMPER - Wednesday 27th September

Enjoy a traditional Aussie bush experience and cook damper on an open fire and wash it down with real billy tea.
Time: Choose between 10:30am - 11:30am or 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Kids can explore a collection of different types of boomerangs, spears and tools that are used by Aboriginal Australians and then learn to throw boomerangs themselves. Participants will then get to paint and keep their own boomerang.
Time: 10am - 12pm
