Ideas to Stop the Boredom
Thankfully there's lots of (fun) ways to entertain the kids over the school holiday period, today we're looking at the top three splurge options on the Sunshine Coast.

1) Under Water World (Mooloolaba)

A chance for the kids to find Nemo

Under Water World is a great local attraction - there's lots to see and do before any chance of boredom sets in. My tip, make sure you catch the seal and otter shows– you don't want to miss either. Tickets cost $23 for children and a family pass will set you back $104 - cheaper if you purchase tickets online.

2) Aussie World (Palmview)

Enjoy the thrills of the Wild Mouse Rollercoaster

Aussie World is Sunshine Coast's only amusement park and I'll be honest, it's lacking the luster of its hot competitors down on the Gold Coast but is still an enticing option for locals. Tickets Cost $29 for children which includes unlimited rides (and use of the mini golf) whilst a family pass, of five, will set you back $119 - more info here.

3) Australia Zoo (Beerwah)

Learning about the shy solitary Red Pandas

Australia Zoo is the most expensive recommendation but guarantees a fun day out for kids. It does pay to plan your day before arriving (via their website) as there are so many animals and talks throughout the day you don't want to miss your favourites. Entry is free for kids under three, children's tickets are $35 and a family of five will set you back $189 (more info here).
