Gould League will be running a free educational holiday program from the 9th until the 13th of July at Centro Box Hill . Children will learn about how to grow their own vegetables successfully. They will also have the opportunity to get to know some of the special insects, which help maintain a productive garden. Sessions are scheduled between 11.00am and 2.00pm with interactive playtimes at 11.30am and 1pm. Every child gets to take home a free apron.
There are two free school holiday workshops at the stunning Blackburn Lake Sanctuary. Bookings can be made by ringing 9262 6211. Places fill fast.
Tuesday 3rd of July, 10am – 12pm – Batman and Robin Workshop

Diamond Valley Steam Engine @ Eltham Lower Park
On Sundays and Wednesdays during the school holidays the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway operates between 11am and 5pm at Eltham Lower Park. Rides cost only $3 with children 2 and under riding for free.
