The Stockland Bay Village Shopping Centre at Bateau Bay will be a host to a variety of different events during the January school holidays to keep children on the Central Coast entertained. It is advisable to register for some of these programs in advance, such as the Cooking School as numbers are capped for some programs.
The program of fun is as follows:
Week 1: 03/01/12 - 06/01/12
Bring out those crayons and pieces of paper, and children be prepared to draw (colouring in as well) and enjoy as part of the centre's Crayola Creative Hub (situated near the NAB branch in this complex) between 10am-1pm this week (at the time of writing this) where attendees will also get an opportunity to get their photo taken in front of the Crayola Creative Hub wall; and the photo will then be customised as a colouring in page, where children can colour themselves in for a change. Brilliant and innovative.
The Kids in the Kitchen cooking class is on this week, and for this particular activity, bookings must be made in advance. Parents, you can either call the shopping centre's customer service desk on 02 4332 2255 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Week 3: 16/01/12 - 20/01/12
Your child (if he or she wishes to attend) will be given their own pot which they can decorate and make their own Fuzzy Friend, and even cut its hair if they wish. Held between 10am-2pm.
Week 4: 23/01/12 - 27/01/12
To see out the final week of children's activities at the bay; children will have an opportunity to learn about our sea creatures and marine life at the Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre stand this week. Children can also paint their own sea creature plaster craft for only $5 per set.
The Bay Village Shopping Centre at Bateau Bay is on one level only, and it is easy to make your way around the centre with ample parking space available.
