School holidays can be just a little bit dreary when the weather is getting cooler and a little bit wetter, but there is no need to despair here are 7 fantabulous options for children of all ages throughout this autumn school holidays.
Adelaide Zoo is always a good pick for a great day out for little animals lovers. This school holidays the Zoo is offering two activities for great animal fun.
ZOOcation Care is a great holiday program for 5 – 12 year olds which gets the a day with a Conservation Education. They will explore the zoo and get to know the animals, enjoy adverturous activities, play games, engage in animal presentations and meet new friends.

A day at ZOOcation Care is $65 non-members and $55 Zoos SA members and runs on specific days during the school holidays. This is a popular option so head on to the website and book now.
Also offered by the Adelaide Zoo is Zoo Foods. Offered as part of your zoo entry fee, Zoo Foods will engage the help of little animal lovers to discover what animals eat, their special treats and wonderful eating habits. In its final weeks, if you have not been to Dinosaur rEvolution yet, school holidays is a great opportunity to visit. While the exhibition is on until 6 May 2018, the exhibition will remain open until 6 pm on Thursday 26 April 2018 for the special movie event, The Good Dinosaur.
Bring the kids along to see The Good Dinosaur at 6 pm on Thursday 26 April 2018. The Good Dinosaur is a 3D computer-animated drama adventure film which tells the story of good dinosaur Arlo who meets a very special human friend. Arlo and friend will experience a series of adventures facing danger and daring.
This is a smoke and alcohol-free, free movie event and bookings are not required.
