The world's largest publisher of children's books, Scholastic , will be holding a huge super sale at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre in Homebush this April. The event is open to schools only on Wednesday April 10, but on Thursday April 11 the public is welcome to come down as well, and get their hands on some cheap books.

Everything at the sale will be at least 50% off the recommended retail price and there will be thousands of items to choose from. Paperback novels will cost $3.00, paperback picture books $5.00 and hardcover picture books $8.00. There will also be Teacher Resource Books from $6.00 and software and hardware that has been discounted by 50% to 80%.

The will be open from 10.00am to 7.30pm on the Thursday (and 10.00am to 6.00pm on Wednesday). You will need to bring your own boxes or bags to carry your purchases home with you.
