Each year the people at Scholastic have a warehouse clean out, with book prices starting at $1.00. Scholastic are well known as suppliers of children's books for the popular school Book Club and provide books from a wide variety of genres. You will find 1000s of children's titles, novels and activity items, picture and chapter books, as well as offerings from popular authors all at prices from 50% up to 90% off. There will be something for kids of all ages as well as some good books for parents too.

Scholastic search for the best book titles from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Some books are sourced from independent publishers, ensuring a few books different from those found in mainstream book stores. Scholastic also help to encourage Australian and new authors, so if you are looking for something different to read to your kids as a bed time story, you may just find something here.



Scholastic's Brisbane warehouse is located at Unit 2, 350 Lytton Road, Morningside 4170. If you drive along Lytton Road heading towards the Gateway Motorway, the entrance is tucked away on the left hand side of the road, not long after the fish market on the right. The next sale will take place on Wednesday 5 June from 8.00am to 5.00pm and Thursday 6 June from 8.00am to 7.00pm.
