Located along Prospect Road in Prospect, is a supermarket that specialises in selling products sourced from local South Australian growers and food producers. Their Grab-and-Go range of cooked food offers a wide variety of dishes that can be mixed-and-matched to form a yummy meal.

Their Roasted Vegetables provides an easy way to enjoy this dish without the hassle of having to cut and roast the vegetables. All the vegetables were cooked just right, with the more flavoursome sweet potato and zucchini complementing the plainer-tasting potatoes well. We also liked that the roasted red onions did not have an overpowering taste. The herbs the vegetables were seasoned with subtly lifted their flavour.



The size of the Meatballs and Veggie Balls were generous enough to make them a filling meal for one. Both types of balls were very juicy. The Veggie Balls notably had a few larger chunks of vegetables to give them a slightly different texture to the meatballs. The sauce served to complete the dish.



For those that want something unique, there is the Artichoke and Eggplant Croquette. The main ingredients in these croquettes gave them a delectable earthy flavour, which was more pronounced in the Eggplant Croquette. The filling was not too mushy and was a good contrast to the crumb coating.





Dishes that are more along lines that most Australians are used to, their Mushroom Schnitzel and Chicken Schnitzel were both fried to golden brown with the interior cooked to perfection. The sizes of the schnitzels are that which allows them to be enjoyed with other dishes without being too filling.





While we thought the Sicilian and Porcini Mushroom Arancini could do with a bit more filling, the risotto rice was not too gluggy and the crumb coating was lovely. The beef filling in the Sicilian Arancini gave it a bit of a meaty texture while the Porcini Mushroom Arancini fittingly had a delightfully earthy flavour.





Aside from ready-to-go meals, also stocks a wide variety of fresh ingredients, deli staples such as cured meats and cheese, flowers, and goods from their artisan bakery. If you are looking for a one-stop place for South Australian produce and yummy meals, consider dropping by for a visit.
