'Scene: Crevasse' is a solo exhibition by emerging artist Marcin Wojcik, in which the artist investigates glacier climbing. The artist uses props and light and sound effects to create a theatrical mis-en-scene. If you like rugged, harsh exteriors where giant, tough-as-nails adventurers with masses of body hair seek fame or ruin amongst the treacherous slopes, then this is the exhibition for you. Alternatively, if you like to probe into the inticacies of the idea of persona, character, and scene, charting the growth of an artificial personality through the accumulation of props and costumes, then this is also your perfect exhibition.

Scene: Crevasse' is being held at BUS Projects, an artist-run initiative situated in Donkey Wheel House, Melbourne CBD. The exhibition runs from the 12th until the 31st of July.

Opening hours: Wednesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 6:00 pm

This exhibition won't keep you warm this Winter, but it will make you grateful that you're not living on a glacier.
